Our Story

Emerged from the sports scene of Hudiksvall

It started with a local need. Today, General Sports is a meeting point for athletes, clubs, and families who want the right equipment and proper knowledge close to home.

We built the store we ourselves were missing, where experience and product range go hand in hand.

General Sports was born out of Hudiksvall's sports scene, among dedicated hockey parents who saw that players and clubs needed a local place with quality products and advice from people who understand the sport.

What started with second-hand equipment alongside local clubs has grown into a modern sports store with a wide range of products, strong roots in the town, and high ambitions for the future.

Today, the store is run by Petter Dahl, Filip Lander, Fredrik Johansson, and Mikael Persson. Here, you meet athletes, not just salespeople.

We sell equipment, but above all, we share knowledge from our own tracks, ice rinks, and gyms. Whether you are a beginner, recreational athlete, or aiming for elite level, you will receive advice that is relevant to you.
