Cooling is crucial for how well a headlamp performs. Silva developed Airflow technology, which means the lamp is designed with an integrated aluminum cooler. With the goal of creating a headlamp with good light no matter what activity you're doing, even if you're standing still and taking a break. The result is higher quality light from a cooler lamp. All parts and accessories are interchangeable. This means you can not only switch between batteries - you can also change the lamp head. The lamp head and battery connect via gold-plated snap-in connectors - which applies to all parts of the Free headlamp series. Silva Intelligent Light is a dual light beam found in all Silva headlamps. The unique combination of focused long-distance light and wide-angle light that illuminates close to you results in fewer head movements and a clear view of any obstacles at both short and long distances, providing better control, improved balance, less fatigue, and higher speed.
